As many of you may have noticed, I have quite an obsession with #Shakespeare, but now you’re going to find out just how much! This year, I want to challenge myself, so I’ve set myself the task of performing every piece in Allie Esiri’s Shakespeare For Every Day Of The Year from

@OscarRunnerUp This is such a tough one. I genuinely can’t choose between American Fiction, Women Talking and Conclave. All of them are so clever, and they each say a lot about the world we live in! “Certainty is the deadly enemy of tolerance”

@OscarRunnerUp American Fiction was hugely imaginative in some of its narrative choices and it had the best line of dialogue in cinema that year.

“If only I could find her, so she could see me with such lovely friends here now, perhaps she could love me as I am.” THE ELEPHANT MAN (1980) John Hurt, Hannah Gordon & Anthony Hopkins are superb in this moving scene from David Lynch's masterpiece.

@jackHollywood09 Do you mind telling me what you liked so much about Parasite? I thought it really picked up in the 2nd half and the finale made quite an impact, but until the twist arrived I was on the verge of falling asleep! I’ll be honest, I was actually rooting for 1917 that year!

@OscarRunnerUp I’m so torn between Buckley and Stone. I think I’d be tempted to go with Stone as while Buckley is truly captivating throughout the entirety of Hamnet, her big scenes don’t come until later whereas Stone makes every single moment of Bella Baxter big right from the start!

@ROKU9413 @TheAcademy Or a crazy roadtrip kind of comedy where Buckley and Jordan play a pair who have been friends since college, their lives are stagnating so they go to visit their old professor (Madigan) for inspiration, but she’s gone completely off the rails and wraps them up in her chaos!

@MrSamOSullivan @TheAcademy An office workplace comedy where they’re the only ones staying overtime. Ones a grizzled veteran who hates the job, one is overly optimistic who’s happy to be there and one who just goes with the motions.

‘THE SHITHEADS’, starring Dave Franco, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Mason Thames, feels like a throwback to the kind of raunchy buddy comedies that simply don’t get made anymore. Find out more in our review... discussingfilm.net/2026/02/17/the…
