@jetgalnz @Strange_G But there's bad humans everywhere and a few of them are parents. Some people are just not made to be good parents this is what I've realized in life.

@MrSchmitzo @Strange_G Unfortunately there are a large number that no doubt like their fathers are terrible humans. Marriage is not like what it used to be. The govt doesn't support families as much as they support solo mums.

@Strange_G @jetgalnz I reckon they are very good. In NZ. GenX and below all go to kids sports games performances etc etc help out at home etc.

@MrSchmitzo @jetgalnz Most are great but in every country we have bad mum and dads. I don’t think kiwi men in general are anywhere near bad at all. They’re excellent mostly. Alcohol, drug and gamble is across all cultures and some people get destroyed by it.

@MrSchmitzo @Strange_G The choice wasn't that simple. The family unit has been eroded by forcing women to work to survive. You chose to get ahead to afford kids but the costs keep rising so kids are no longer an option short of depending on the govt. Add that to men with zero fatherly attributes in NZ

@Apodictator I think cops have become pen pushers. therefore the 'easy task theory' is a possibility. A pen pusher in an office will often choose the easiest tasks to do and ignore the difficult ones entirely. That's why cops jump at easy low hanging fruit arrests vs tough arrests/cases
