@FGC_JohnDo For some games yeah, rivals isn't one of them. Idk how good it is but I've seen people cook on controller. I'm also pretty sure fairly recently they improved it on PC.

The year is 2028. Season 5 of Tekken 8 is coming to a close. There are 12 more characters on the already bloated roster bringing the total to over 50 characters. Guest anime and 2d characters have projectiles, magic spells, weapons. Projectile moves are + on block in heat (CH launch). They track more than they should. 2D characters get full meter from popping heat. Every other character in the game has 10-15+ new moves added over the seasons. The new moves cover all existing weaknesses of the current roster. Everybody has i13 d/f+1s with mid/high extensions with CH properties. Everybody has i15 hopkicks/standing launchers. Everybody has a g clef that can be made safe in heat. Everybody has even more + on block moves with CH properties. Everybody has + on block mids that hit grounded and unseeable lows that wallsplat. Everybody has terrifying FC mixups. The heat system remains completely unchanged. Strong aerial tailspins remain unchanged. Unscaled spike combos remain unchanged. Heat smashes are normalized by making all of them wall splat. Half of the existing roster has been given projectiles, the other half installs (installs are still free in heat). There are only two tiers: S tier and S+ tier. "Aggression" and "If everyone is broken, no one is broken" remains as the core ethos of the game. Devs have meticulously sought out and destroyed any situation remotely resembling okizeme. Even mentioning the word okizeme earns you a block from Murray and gets you banned from TWT. Combos are longer than ever. The new characters rage arts are longer than ever. Particle effects of today look quaint by comparison. Tournament meta involves playing 10 characters and looking for counter-picks and knowledge-checks. Even world class players struggle to keep up with the bloat.

Tekken Devs please stop speeding up moves. Please revert all of those changes. Tekken devs please consider adding more frames of whiff recovery. Tekken devs please remove airbone lowparry system. Tekken Devs please change heat burst. Tekken devs please MAKE TEKKEN BETTER. FFS
