To be honest, I am not totally feeling like they are doomed.
That said, being down 0-2 to the Knicks is a much more difficult hole to climb out of.
DET’s offense made that more feasible. New York is very capable on both sides of the ball.
That said, Cavs are still in this.

This. Ever since he slipped on the baseline in Game 5 vs Detroit his movement has looked off.
Then he started to move better in Game 7 and slipped at the end up 35 with 3 minutes left because our coach still had the starters in.

This is normal before your team breaks through. It’s very abnormal that your team dominates all year and then end up champion.

Idk the last time I had fun watching the Cavs if it didn’t somehow involve a magical Jarrett Allen explosion game. Just a genuinely exhausting season and group this year. It’s unreal they’re in the ECF and idk that I’ve enjoyed more than 10 consecutive minutes of the run.

There’s no need for think tanks this morning. This just sums it up. Cavs are easily one of the best teams in NBA when they aren’t getting their own way.
Knicks aren’t doing anything special.
Game 1: unserious.
Game 2: missing wide open shots and free throws.

I agree. As a Cavs fan I can kind of say the same for the Knicks towards Cavs. You can tell both teams want to win but don’t “hate” each other.
Cavs genuinely didn’t like Raptors or Pistons/their coach.
