@MattofLegend @browsercompany Dia is just a sad excuse for what Arc could've been. I get it's still in its infancy compared to Arc, but the entire experience just isn't as smooth compared to Arc imo. And now they are just adding over Arc features?? I just miss full Arc support man 😔

@browsercompany Trying to make the move from Arc to Dia and its a bit clunky. I can't use my Arc subscription? I need to have overlapping subscriptions for a month? I have to download arc to my new mac in order to import its contents to Dia despite Arc having my data in the cloud? I need a completely different login for Dia? Am I missing anything?

Today I was so sick for a couple hours with my chronic illness that my wife had to feed me. But I was still able to knock this out of the park: image stacks in my app. What other editor does this? I won against my illness today. Lets try again tomorrow.

I still haven't decided on a name for my app. But I'm still cooking away. Today I've added image masks and effects. I feel like people will really enjoy this specific feature for journaling and sharing pages on the web.

We are all born with the heart of a child, soft, vulnerable, and looking to be loved. As our bodies grow and our hearts get hurt, we think maturity is building walls around our heart. But people still get through, wounding it, cutting it, breaking it. So we build walls higher and stronger, so nothing can hurt us. Then we become adults, navigating the world for ourselves, thinking ourselves strong, capable, and resilient. But something is missing; it’s not what we thought it would be. Nothing feels like anything anymore. We’ve become numb. The things we loved as a child are an echo of what we remember, our pursuits and goals feel empty, our relationships hollow. So we turn inward to our hearts, but we don’t see a feeling heart; we see a prison. We realize we didn’t just block feelings and desires from getting in, we blocked them from coming out as well. So we begin the process of tearing down the walls. One by one, as each wall collapses, we’re forced to confront why that particular wall was built in the first place. Each wall brings pain as it crumbles, but the pain is better than numbness. The pain is a signal that our heart is still alive. So we continue the rest of our lives, dismantling every wall we trusted, brick by brick. When the final wall collapses, what we find surprises us. We don’t find the mature, self-made heart we imagined; we end up back where we started, with the heart of a child that’s desperate for love and belonging, still tender and still hurting. Through the process of tearing down walls, we learn the answer isn’t to put more walls up, it’s to give it to the One who has the strength to hold it, the strength to protect it, the strength to love it, and the grace to restore it, so that we may become a child again.

I can’t figure out a name for my everything app. It’s a productivity app that will allow you to create/store/share/execute anything. Like Things 3 meets Notion. If you don’t like these, suggest a better one!

@MattofLegend Ah, that's a good point with the name. Excited to see it come to all these platforms though! Currently using notion and obsidian for all my notes. Your app seems like a pretty huge upgrade from the standard tools these two provide.
