@MixelPlx @ObsidianVashman I wont argue with functional (prob because there wasn't 8 years of updates on it), Storytelling: Tall Tales were 2019, Adventures were in 2022, and in May of 2020 it had it's highest concurrent player count (on steam). So statistically no, 2018 was actually not better.

@ObsidianVashman @MixelPlx 2018 Sea of Thieves had 3 factions (one only being advanced by catching animals), an Athena voyage that was atrocious, a FOMO Meg voyage, skelly ships battles on the corners of the map, and the roar in September… oh and skeleton thrones….

Been covering the game since Beta and I still love it. I’ve met hundreds of people over the years and had more stories than I can remember. I’ve seen this game ebb and flow over the years but the core loop of the game and the world still keeps me invested.
