Honest question, and I don't mean to offend anyone. Just having a conversation with someone regarding the topic: in university, one of my classmates was a black social justice warrior pseudo intellectual that was a die-hard black lives matters advocate. I understand there are still racial inequalities and all, but in this day and age, are black folks still overly playing the victim card? He really annoyed me because he couldn't see beyond his own life experiences and remain objective about the issues he was arguing.
