Rahul Gandhi@RahulGandhi

I still support Prime Minister Modi and this government. That doesn’t mean I believe everything is perfect. There are real issues in education, employment, and several other sectors that need serious attention, and the government should listen to people’s concerns.
But hating the BJP should never become a reason to support movements or individuals who work against the country’s interests or create unrest. Criticizing the government is a democratic right, but standing with those who harm the nation is not the answer.
If anyone has broken the law or engaged in violence, they should face strict legal action. At the same time, there should also be accountability for how so many young school and college students are being drawn into such situations.
My message to Gen Z is simple: ask questions, demand accountability, and raise your voice—but don’t let anger push you toward actions that only divide the country. Real change comes through democracy, not chaos.

I still support BJP and Modi Ji. Not because I think they are perfect, no one does, but because, today, I don’t see anything better alternative. If someone better comes tomorrow, that’s a different discussion.
So why are even BJP supporters criticizing the government today? One word—expectations.
This government removed Article 370, ended Triple Talaq, and took decisions like demonetization. It achieved what many thought was impossible. That’s exactly why people trust it so much. We always believe there’s a bigger plan.
But this time, that trust was shaken. A protest that began peacefully turned violent. Students were beaten, chaos followed, and the government reacted too late. If talks could happen later, why not earlier? Maybe all of this could have been avoided.
Yes, many people with political agendas were clearly involved. But not everyone. There were also genuine students who believed the government would protect them and control the situation before it got worse. That didn’t happen.
And BJP’s IT Cell has completely failed. It has become an echo chamber instead of a strong communication team. While fake narratives spread at lightning speed, they are busy with praise, hashtags, and retweets instead of presenting facts and countering misinformation.
Ignoring this mistake will be costly. Whether the party accepts it or not, this will have consequences in future elections. Loyal supporters are not speaking out because they hate BJP, they are speaking out because they expected much better.

We often blame political parties, social media, or propaganda. But now, the responsibility is ours too.
Many young people, especially Gen Z, are constantly exposed to misinformation, half-truths, edited clips, and emotional narratives on Instagram, WhatsApp, Reddit, Telegram, X, and other platforms. Some get influenced online, while others carry those opinions into the real world.
If you know the facts, don’t stay silent. Talk to your friends, cousins, classmates, colleagues, anyone who may have been misled. Don’t argue with hate; explain with facts, logic, and patience.
Whether you agree with me or not, one thing is undeniable: Gen Z is India’s future. The mindset we help build today will shape the country tomorrow. If we don’t counter misinformation now, we will all pay the price later.
Let’s stop forwarding narratives blindly and start encouraging critical thinking. India deserves informed citizens, not manipulated minds.
