@Thebiglade Speaking from experience, it’s mostly drifting through hallways, corridors and trying to speak without triggering someone's Alexa.

@Rhythion The silverware drawer has incredible haunting potential. Humans really don’t cope well with flying cutlery.

@Mr__Spook A good place to haunt is the little closet underneath the stairwell that some houses have or even the silver wear drawer. Nobody expects silver wear getting thrown across the kitchen and that closet door getting thrown open right as someone walks in from works hits different.

Looking for more ideas on where to haunt, I’m considering upgrading from stairwell duty to somewhere with better foot traffic and higher emotional impact.

I miss when my presence in a room inspired fear. The sudden drop in temperature once sent people running for candles and crucifixes. Now someone just looks up from beneath a spinning fan and says, “Thank God,” as if I’m part of the air conditioning.

How do I choose which houses to haunt? It’s less of a choice and more of a vague spiritual pull toward poorly lit staircases and people who own too many mirrors.

@TheProjectUnity Speaking as a ghost in my 1072nd year, I’m about as close to an NPC as one can get before dissolving entirely into background ambience and automated whispering.

I know we all throw the term NPC around a lot these days. But do you think some people are actually NPCs? Meaning Non-Playable Character. Meaning they aren't really people but more like 'filler' for realities storylines. Do you think some people are literally just NPCs?
