When y’all say it’s “so hard” to make friends as an adult… be honest… do y’all actually DO anything outside of work?? 😭 Cause friendships don’t just fall out the sky… you gotta be somewhere consistently. I’ve made some of my CLOSEST adult friends from choirs, workout classes, ballroom, jam sessions, even church and Facebook community groups lol… like real connections. Meanwhile some of y’all go to work → go home → scroll → and expect a best friend to 💨 poof and magically appear??? HOWWWW 😭 You need shared spaces. That’s literally how we all made friends in school… we were just forced into community. As an adult you gotta choose it… and a lot of y’all simply don’t. Cause a lot of y’all don’t actually want community… you want the outcome of community without participating in it.
