@benmoulding @mitchellvii Yep, the head is Jesus, but if you replace the head, then it becomes someone else praying for another. God honors such gestures greatly...
English

@mitchellvii Why arent you sharing the picture he posted? You know there’s more behind this picture than him just being an apostle or a doctor. I’m not a believer. Christian Americans are just so indoctrinated with this MAGA stuff that you don’t even see the joke your country has become.

Auto op de snelweg – 110 km/u
Passagiersvliegtuig – 900 km/u
McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle – 2.500 km/u

@trader_dan South Pole is actually also magnetic but your compass has a north and South Pole to. The North Pole is actually a magnetic south pole. That’s why the north end of your compass needle points there. That sounds like it breaks your flerf brain, right? but it’s how magnetism works.🤯
English

If the Earth is a globe, then why is the North Pole the only Pole that is magnetic, and therefore the only Pole that a compass can point to? Below the Equator, a compass would have to point to the South Pole, which would have a stronger magnetic force there than the North Pole. But since a compass ALWAYS points to the North Pole, that indicates that there is only one Pole on the Earth. And therefore a flat Earth.

@benwehrman An average satellite is about the size of a small car. Now imagine there are only 32,000 cars left in the world. You could drive for weeks before passing another one. And that’s only across land, which is just 29% of Earth.
Low orbit covers roughly 1000000% more.
You do the math.
English

Daily reminder that if you google "satellite in space", every picture it shows you is computer-generated.
Tens of thousands of them are supposedly up there careening around at an incomprehensible 17,000 MPH (10x the speed of a speeding sniper rifle bullet) in every direction randomly, yet you never see a single one in space walk footage.
The astronauts also don't seem too concerned that they or their craft could be instantaneously vaporized at any second by one of these flying machines of death, that are moving so fast the human eye couldn't even see it.
Does this make any sense at all to you?
English

Cool story!
Now explain why these are curved.

Buzz Patterson@BuzzPatterson
It’s not flat. I can personally attest.
English

@No_Curve Rufus, congrats — you just posted proof of the globe 🌍
Those Starlinks are so high up they’re still catching and reflecting sunlight while it’s already dark where you are. That’s called geometry, not magic. But hey… curvature is hard when you pretend it doesn’t exist 😉
English

Riddle me this Batman…
If those Starlink “Satellites” are allegedly much smaller than an airplane…
But allegedly over 10x further away than an airplane…
Why do they look bigger and brighter than an airplane in the sky 🛰️🤔
