Most brands and brand owners are genuinely retarded Like they think they know shit about affiliate marketing but they’re actually so dumb Have huge huge egos too, you tell them you’ve made six figures, got 100M views and been doing this for 2 years and they’re like: “Yeah we don’t have any sales on TikTok shop and have no idea what GMV Max is but we’re really optimistic, we’re offering a generous 35 cents per video!!!”

I was wrong Although this video technically converted somewhat poorly (1 sale per 7k views) still made some great side money This video alone made me $6k and the product about ~$7k, all from maybe 10 videos and 30 minutes of total work One of Matt kahlas top products was an emotional support cactus - he took home $200k. I think the lesson I learned here is you can always just go for it and post the video even if it isn’t the most “optimized” ad / product That’s the beauty of tiktok shop
