Today wraps up the 2025 #NASCAR Cup season, I’m grateful to say I was able to attend 8 races across the top 3 series this year and visit 2 new tracks! (3 if we count the Indy 500) already counting down the days until my first Daytona 500, but until then, go 5! 🏁

@dailydownforce It's literally impossible. If he only missed a week or two and then went on an uncharacteristic tear of multiple wins in a short time, maybe, but after missing as many as he's going to, not a chance.

@FreddieKraft It’s hard and Corey has over excelled in the 67 in cup proving he should be in the car full time, the fact he’s not in the 35 when everyone sees it the better option is equally as surprising as to how he does not have a full time rid in ANY series this year

Breaking news: The Cup Series is hard. Without racing against numerous Cup guys weekly, I’m not sure the gap from NOAPS or Trucks has ever been bigger. We need to manage our expectations of these young drivers coming into the series.

@BrakeHardBlog And NASCAR was in its prime, then Fox gets the beginning of the seasons and rating go down, coincidence? I think not. I have said for years Fox is the biggest thing holding nascar back. A causal fan watching a Fox “production” would not be enticed to come back.

@DirtyMoMedia There is only one answer and it’s the 35 car, I get the allegiance to having to be nice to 23XI on the show but there is not a single valid reason as to why Corey doesn’t have a full ride in the 35 after it’s performance last year, while Corey out performed in his limited starts

People want Corey Heim in a Cup ride. But which current Cup driver would you replace for him?

Darlington NASCAR Cup Series race got 2.43 million viewers, off slightly from 2.52 million last year (although that Darlington race was the first week of April).

In time with media today, Darrell Waltrip said he’s not sure if he likes the way races are run in NASCAR today, but he still watches. “I think the sport’s gone through a transition since the days that I raced.
