Today wraps up the 2025 #NASCAR Cup season, I’m grateful to say I was able to attend 8 races across the top 3 series this year and visit 2 new tracks! (3 if we count the Indy 500) already counting down the days until my first Daytona 500, but until then, go 5! 🏁

@dailydownforce It's literally impossible. If he only missed a week or two and then went on an uncharacteristic tear of multiple wins in a short time, maybe, but after missing as many as he's going to, not a chance.

@FreddieKraft It’s hard and Corey has over excelled in the 67 in cup proving he should be in the car full time, the fact he’s not in the 35 when everyone sees it the better option is equally as surprising as to how he does not have a full time rid in ANY series this year

@BrakeHardBlog And NASCAR was in its prime, then Fox gets the beginning of the seasons and rating go down, coincidence? I think not. I have said for years Fox is the biggest thing holding nascar back. A causal fan watching a Fox “production” would not be enticed to come back.

@DirtyMoMedia There is only one answer and it’s the 35 car, I get the allegiance to having to be nice to 23XI on the show but there is not a single valid reason as to why Corey doesn’t have a full ride in the 35 after it’s performance last year, while Corey out performed in his limited starts

People want Corey Heim in a Cup ride. But which current Cup driver would you replace for him?

@jeff_gluck Why is there always an (although) when will the Industry realize we are losing viewers because a casual fan is not going to sit through and or come back with how bad the Fox broadcasts are

Darlington NASCAR Cup Series race got 2.43 million viewers, off slightly from 2.52 million last year (although that Darlington race was the first week of April).

Mike Joy: "And Tyler Reddick will win his 5th race of the season at Kansas!😲 " Clint Bowyer: "Chastain comes home in P20 Mike, but his car really makes me wanna eat some Wendy's 😋" Kevin Harvick: Reddick absolutely rizzed the field today 💯🗣️ 🔥" The Riley Herbst subplot:

.@FS1 averaged 2.429 million viewers for Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series @Goodyear 400 @TooToughToTame, down 3% from 2.517 million for last year's equivalent track and 1% from 2.464 million for last year's equivalent weekend (Homestead).

@CoachBreeze_ @NASCAR It’s not NASCAR it’s Fox and their blatant disregard of how they present our sport in advertising and their product. NASCAR DOES need to start holding Fox accountable though as I truly believe it’s the biggest thing holding nascar back

Dear @NASCAR, With all due respect, you cannot advertise Martinsville by showing clips of Daytona. Outside of the actual cars themselves that is quite literally false advertisement. *also, don’t advertise Martinsville by showing the Ross Chastain move that you have since outlawed

@TeamHendrick It’s extremely frustrating being a 5/48 maybe the worst year yet for these teams? Any time the 5 shows a glimmer of hope they self implode and throw it all away. Even a winning performance yesterday was ruined by the team

@bostonmegsox I’ve said it for years Fox is the biggest thing holding nascar back from growing, any casual fan that watches this I couldn’t imagine would ever want to come back. Just wish NBC had the whole season

In time with media today, Darrell Waltrip said he’s not sure if he likes the way races are run in NASCAR today, but he still watches. “I think the sport’s gone through a transition since the days that I raced. You dropped the green flag and you ran to the checkered. Now they got all these different stages… “I’m not sure I like it the way it is. But, I watch.” Full interview scrum below: #NASCAR
