🍾To introduce the 1920s students looked at images comparing THEN and NOW and gave each set of images a title. Because they have context for the modern photos they were able to build off that knowledge to make connections to the 1920s which they haven't learned about yet.

Grading late submissions for Pear Deck activities can be a pain since there are a bunch of clicks involved just to open one Ss missing task. I end the session once graded and publish the Takeaways. Ss can finish & turn their late work on the Google Doc and submit to GC.
