NAPD seems to be imploding. It’s about time for scrutiny on leadership - or lack thereof. Apparently the Officer-Involved-Shooting Policy at the time of Kelsey’s incident was for the Chief to show up, play grab-ass with “the shooter”, shaking hands and hanging out in the driveway, all while Kelsey is literally fighting for her life in an ambulance 20 feet away. Better yet, why not immediately RE-ARM “the shooter” with your very own Chief gun before any investigation has commenced into why “the shooter” shot his own colleague. Nothing to see here... Sounds like it’s time to go, Chief Gray. Maybe they can replace him with Lt. Daley- the architect of the entire afternoon. He can’t keep control of a scene, but maybe he can control a whole department. Or how about Lt. Whitaker- Justin’s legal advisor from NAPD. Or Sgt. Gherke- the expert on possession, title and ownership of real estate. The options are endless.

Attorney Marc Diller said yesterday that he has filed a subpoena with the Norfolk DA's Office for documents in my case, which they told him they can't produce them because there is a pending prosecution. Diller says he is going to try to intervene in my case to get them because he believes it is relevant for his case against Karen Read. The NCDAO wouldn't give them to him the materials he wanted in my case because there were protective orders in place. I am not entirely sure what materials he is seeking, but if I were to guess I would assume he wants Karen Read's Signal messages from my phone, since even the NCDAO can't go through my phone until a taint team reviews it. Keep in mind, Diller had no idea that there were Signal messages from Karen in my phone extraction until it was released by Meredith O'Neil and sent to Kate Peter and other people who want Karen in jail for life. Now he knows they exist, he can't get them legally from the NCDAO, and is trying to get them another way. None of this would be happening if Meredith didn't send out my phone extraction. Anyone supporting her behavior HATES Karen Read.

David Yannetti is a soulless scumbag. That being said, at this point with what information is available, I feel that his latest client was justified. Police have to make split-second decisions weighing and balancing their own safety, public safety and the safety/rights of suspects. Pulling out a weapon or driving off during a lawful stop creates a situation where deadly force is often introduced out of necessity before the situation takes the officer's life or endangers public safety. My only hesitation is a lack of information. The DA's refusal to release bodycam is concerning to me, and doesn't bode well, IMO.
