I have just received a very special video that I would like to share with the world. This is what it was like to walk out of the courthouse post-verdict. This is the gift our supporters gave us. Thank you to all of you! 🙏

As fun as it is to dig through all the thousands of pages of emails from the CW of MA, MSP, and all the corrupt individuals scrambling along in a desperate (and ultimately FAILED) attempt to frame Karen Read for murder… Imagine how entertaining it would be to read the correspondences from the other side. I would have loved to be a fly in the wall listening & watching Alan Jackson, @BostonDefender, Liza Little, Bob Alessi, & Karen heading to and from court. Can you imagine the calls btw the Crash Daddies after the ham sandwich day? I’m not sure I can single out which text/email thread I would want to read the most! 😆

@Bogonya108 @wordsporn It most certainly is. @bobalessi is a true Renaissance Man. And the amazing thing is that if you asks him today, sight unseen, what he definition of “polymath” is, he would be able to tell you. 😊

Got it. I think we both know that prosecutors have a tremendous amount of discretion … and therefore a tremendous amount of power. When they make good decisions, they can do a lot of good. But when they make bad decisions, in my view, they can do far more damage than a wayward judge.

Today’s @nypost. We cannot let these horrendous policies poison Boston policing.

@EstatePlan @nypost The charging decision, Brian. It appears to be open season on cops trying to protect the public from violent and dangerous criminals. Agree or disagree with me, you will be hearing more about politically motivated prosecutors looking for police scapegoats. Not on my watch.

@BostonDefender @nypost As I recall, this officer was found guilty then sentenced by a judge, so what “horrendous policies” are you referring to?

She sure did. I had only just moved into the office and Kelly set the whole thing up, including printing out and framing some family pictures for me. It was really unbelievable. And you can’t underestimate how great it was for our whole team to have a comfortable place to eat lunch and chat, away from the crowds.

Over the past 2+ years I have had the opportunity to personally meet and befriend many people brought together by a shameful, well-known prosecution in Massachusetts. This includes people from all walks of life, such as distinguished attorneys, Karen’s close family members, “content creators,” supporters from all over the country (and the world), and others who were outraged by injustice. I can say without qualification that I have as much respect for Kelly Read as anyone else I have met and befriended the past few years. She is a loyal, dear friend and a wonderful person. I have no doubt that 99.9% of people who know Kelly and witnessed the nightmare of the past few years —including her family, those who supported Karen as she was wrongfully prosecuted, and Karen’s lawyers—wholeheartedly agree.

FYI: @YannettiJohnson deleted the previous version of our brand video and uploaded this one, to avoid the trigger warning. It didn’t occur to us that the video would be flagged by YouTube for the split-second posting of a pic that has already been shown hundreds of times in the media. But it certainly was not essential to the video anyway, so it’s far better that this was flagged early on while we are still working with our media company. We are very pleased with the final result.

Public Service Announcement to all of my wonderful followers: The new X account for our law firm is @YannettiJohnson. Follow us there too! One added benefit is that you will be among friends. The 10 trolls who have 10 accounts each and recycle the same tired screenshots, videos and silly arguments here will remain able to post and advertise their misery on this account. No one is blocked here. I recognize they need an outlet for their daily two-minute hate, so I am happy to provide that therapeutic opportunity so that maybe they won’t kick their dogs at home as much. Anything for the greater good. But we have instituted a zero-tolerance policy at our law-firm account. No trolls allowed! Come on over, pull up a comfortable chair and let’s chat! Have a good weekend, everyone!

It was just brought to my attention that this was posted on the Facebook page, “Support for BPD Officer Nicholas O’Malley.” To say I am blown away is an understatement. Rest assured, we have hit the ground running and we are hard at work. We will be marshaling the resources of our firm and a healthy stable of experts and consultants to do absolutely everything we can to exonerate this good officer. Nick and his family are grateful for your support. Thank you. 🙏 #freeomalley

Go join the Facebook group. I fully support officer Nicholas O’Malley. In a split decision he had to make a choice. He confronted a man who had a long criminal history who attacked a woman and stole her car. Officer O’Malley acted quickly as King was backing up into another cruiser and trying to drive away. From what I’ve seen it was a tight space and he was trying to escape from the cops putting O’Malley and his partner in fear for his life. By arresting this officer for manslaughter just shows every other good cop that if you pull your weapon to protect and serve, you will go to jail. @YannettiJohnson @BostonDefender

I’m not so sure that’s the case. I worked with her in the DA’s Office in the 1990’s and she was always laser-focused on saying provocative things in the press to try to get attention. Now, she makes her living announcing her bad predictions on the Internet. Remember that she guaranteed us that Karen Read would be convicted, while she relished the thought of her being raped in prison. If you’re a betting man, you should always bet the farm on what Wendy says will not happen. Money in the bank.
