The @HawthornMSS teachers vs. students basketball game was close, but the teachers held on for a 14-13 win over the eighth-grade basketball team. Better luck next time, students! 🏀⛹️‍♀️⛹️‍♂️

Starting today, seventh and eighth-grade TRY (Teens Reaching Youth) students from @HawthornMSS are visiting Hawthorn School for Young Learners on a weekly basis to join the kindergarteners during lunch and recess. The kindergarteners really look up to the older kids!

Huge thanks to @DrMartinHSYL for giving our 7th and 8th grade TRY students a tour of HSYL. We can’t wait to start our mentoring program next week!! @HawthornMSS #become1

This year's TRY Leadership Conference, held via Zoom this year, was a huge success. Ted Wiese, a youth motivational speaker, taught 8th grade middle school students about the keys to leadership. #D73inspires #become1 @HawthornMSN73 @HawthornMSS
