@StephanieMayle You bring up a good point about what happens if students don't do the work. I see this happening especially in elementary school. How are students being held accountable without the teacher in front of them making them do it? Also, what if students don't have internet at home?

A flipped classroom seems to put more responsibility into the hands of the student! Students have time to process the information at their own speed before being asked to discuss or answer questions. What happens when students DON'T do the work at home? #CUIN654FALL2019!

@bigburghfan I agree with you! I have loved being able to read, and watch videos on my own and then process the information at my own speed. I am one that takes time to process information to fully comprehend it. This makes me wonder, do I give my students enough time to process information?

I have enjoyed being able to preview information because it makes learning and applying content easier. There is not that on the spot type of processing of information. I have used the website LearnZillion that uses short videos to show content then apply it. #cuin654fall2019!

I have loved flipped classroom environments in college b/c it allows for flexibility and process time. I have concerns for this in public school. What if families don't have internet at home? I also see many technological problems especially with younger Ss! #CUIN654FALL2019!

A5- What I plan to collect to share my story is students' work (high, average, and low scores), and my strengths and weaknesses throughout my teaching. I love the idea that my colleagues mentioned about a reflective journal! I would love to start a journal! #WCPSIDEA

A4- I would like work with my mentor to better understand all of the acronyms. . I hope to be able to sit in on an IEP meeting this semester. I can use them to better understand my ss and gain a better understanding on how to better help them succeed. #WCPSIDEA

@ltclopper @WCPSinterns @CourtneyLeard @ltclopper you would think that I just copied your answer for this question! We both put the same thing. I guess that makes sense since we were both in kindergarten at the same school last semester 😀 Great minds think alike!

A3 - Last semester I taught most of my lessons whole group. This semester I would like to complete more small group activities/lessons. I would also like the lessons to be more students directed rather than teacher directed. #STUDENTSDISCOVERLEARNING #WCPSIDEA
