Sometimes you just gotta take it one step at a time. In the winter, wildlife endures extremes of cold and the absence of ready food. Their tracks through deep snow tell tales of their tenacious struggles throughout the long winter. Hang in there, winter always turns to spring.

On this day in 1895, photographer Dorothea Lange was born. Much of her work is held at the Library, providing a visual guide to incredibly turbulent times in America, from the Great Depression to the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II.

Mondays can be un-bear-able.

Students in Mrs.Ecabert's US History classes were treated a wonderful presentation from our librarian Mr. Flint. He gave an interactive and informative presentation on fighting in World War I.
