Yesterday, we removed illegal structures attached to a church building in Small Street during our by-law enforcement operation. Today, we returned to investigate what was happening inside the building and discovered that shops were operating from the church basement.
This demonstrates the level of lawlessness and illegal occupation taking place in parts of our inner city. We will continue to act decisively to enforce by-laws, restore order, and reclaim Johannesburg precinct by precinct. No space in our city can be allowed to operate outside the law.
The first shipment of SA apples arrived in Shenzhen, China on May 1st. Under the zero tariff treatment, the 24 tons of SA apples enjoyed a tariff reduction of around 50,000 Rand. We welcome more products of SA to reach the Chinese market and hope the policy will better benefit our two peoples.
@CucsmanE This freedom came with a lot of death and sacrifices, so one day the youth of Zim, must gather the courage to stand what holding their country back
As a Zimbabwean, I feel a deep sense of envy when I see South Africans taking to the streets to demonstrate. Whenever they are unhappy, they have the freedom to speak out ,a right that was stripped away from us in Zimbabwe a long time ago.
We simply cannot protest here.
To my South African neighbors: please appreciate your police service. They are top-notch because they follow the law. In Zimbabwe, our police take their orders directly from ZANU-PF
“Go back and fix your country.”
This is the worst thing to say to me when you already know my country is broken.
You know the people breaking it clearly don’t want me to survive.
So go back and fix what exactly?
When South Africa was being attacked by Donald Trump and Israel, with fake narratives being pushed against the country, not a single African president stepped up to defend it.
