@MrsFrisk @semjared @JoumannaTV The tracking websites are approx rather than exact in position. Airports in UAE closed but transit of airspace at altitude still going on. Aircraft may have been hoping airport in UAE opened but then diverted to pre-arranged alternate (as per flight plan)

@semjared @JoumannaTV BA80 last operated in March 2020. They have used codeshares to serve Muscat since then. So perhaps as one off repatriation flight.

@kelpy2 Which one and what timestamp? I can only see the two recorded live feeds with the gap in the middle where Shaidorov presumably performed. (It doesn’t matter now, as it’s now been published here: bbc.co.uk/sport/articles… )

I can’t explain this but Tuesday and Thursday are even days, Monday and Wednesday are odd, Friday is a prime number, Saturday is a multiple of ten and Sunday is a variable whose value depends on a function defined by the past Saturday and the next Monday
