The Board of Education held a special called meeting this morning. As a result, K-2 students will begin Plan B October 28 followed by 3-5 on November 18. Students in grades 6-12 will remain remote only. More information will be updated on our website ➡️ abss.k12.nc.us/Page/46565

@TamaraTallman2 @blackgrlcrowned It is actually not the same at all. When a student comes into your classroom they are coming into a safe, clean space without their family,pets and home life surrounding them. Not every student is comfortable showing that side of their reality with their classmates. #teacherlife

My daughter was marked absent for the day because she didn’t feel comfortable turning her camera on for one of her classes. Emails have been sent, my mood is thrown off and I still have one more class to teach. I hate it here.
