Why can't you run through a campsite? Because you can only ran. It's always past tents. In the days leading up to KS2 SATs, I always try and put some kind of grammar joke on the board for the pupils to read as they arrive. I've almost run out so please share if you know any!

The children finished their day exploring different parts of Henry VIII’s apartments, including his council chamber where he would meet daily to discuss business matters.

As part of the trip, the children took part in a workshop about Henry VIII’s court and the hierarchy of it. Different children took on the roles of commoners, the gentry, nobility as well as King Henry himself, and they all learnt how to bow to Henry VIII and other nobility.

They explored Henry VIII’s kitchens where his staff would cook meals for members of the court and visitors. They learnt that some of the spices used had to be imported as well as learning about the types of food they would have cooked, and how they would be stored and cooked.
