@JohnBaldLangLit @Headteacherchat Okay but I don’t think this comment was necessary nor helpful really - unfortunately, some classes are known as being ‘challenging,’ no ifs or buts about it.

@Headteacherchat You can only try and see. And why is the class "challenging"? I never use the term unless someone else does first. Is behaviour poor? And if so, what are you doing about it? Or are those questions "challenging"?

@robin_w_f Love the Road’s End clip and the idea of writing inner monologues! Thank you! 😃

@Mr_Wbstr Three little birds, lean on me , count on me and I know it’s an oldie but the school rules song .

@Phonicsandbooks That would be amazing thank you! Would you mind emailing it over if I DM you my email? 😃

@Mr_Wbstr I have a comparison chart I'm happy to share. There are now 45 schemes so you have to start with a few non negotiables!

Teachers out there… What phonics schemes would you recommend? I feel like every person I ever ask this says Read Write Ink! #edutwitter

@Mr_Wbstr Literally went through this just before Easter! DM me! Lots I’d be happy to share!
English

@Mr_Wbstr Good luck, I’m happy to help if you’d like to DM 😊

@miss_s_spies @Mr_Wbstr I second this. I was told don’t assume they know everything and to try to think of it as a completely new school. This helped me to give much more thorough answers. Good luck!

@Mr_Wbstr Answer the questions like the team interviewing don't know anything about you - sounds silly but that way you know they know what you can do, have done and will do. Good luck!
English

@Mr_Wbstr Good luck! It's a fantastic, all consuming role. Align yourself to the school's future work, the role & the JD. And keep your impact high profile 😊
