@JohnBaldLangLit @Headteacherchat Okay but I don’t think this comment was necessary nor helpful really - unfortunately, some classes are known as being ‘challenging,’ no ifs or buts about it.

@Headteacherchat You can only try and see. And why is the class "challenging"? I never use the term unless someone else does first. Is behaviour poor? And if so, what are you doing about it? Or are those questions "challenging"?

Anonymous Post A full-time teacher at my small school has resigned. Her class in September will be challenging and may not suit an Early Career Teacher (ECT). Is it worth advertising the position in June? Will experienced teachers still be available?
