New unit alert! Inspired by Ways of Knowing, our years 7s have used theology, sociology and psychology to study Moses. I am loving the academic rigour and big questions that this learning promotes! #teamRE #literacy #theology

RE should encourage students to move from false binaries. We often ask for agree/disagree but we could do so much than this when evaluating and engaging in dialogue

RE can curate a space for collective thinking and we should plan for the rituals and rigour of talk. Amazingly put 👏

Another behaviour thread: Why tactically ignoring is often a bad idea. Scenario: A student is committing a minor infraction in the lesson. Rocking on their chair, chewing gum etc.. Teachers are commonly recommended to tactically ignore small infractions like these..1/13
