Controversial take: Americans should be allowed to fully own their own property. Once Paid off, it cannot be taken from you. It should be yours fully, and you no longer owe/pay property taxes. You are already taxed many other ways (income, etc) No push for this?

What led to the fire ants incident: Rogers, accompanied by her son, claims that a Santa Fe ISD officer's shouting caused her to panic and drive the wrong way. Upon stopping for the officers, Sergeant Ruben Espinoza reportedly rammed her vehicle, while Officer Christian Carranza allegedly pulled her out of the car, slammed her to the ground, twisted her leg, and buried her face in ants. They held her face in the ant pile despite her screams for help captured in police body cam footage.

We are allowed to be critical of the institutions and those employed by them. That’s the beauty of being an American.
