@lieberrian @SandburgD205 When in Destiny Discover, search a book title. Under it, there should be a place click to click to copy a link to share. Once the drop down opens, there should be a QR code under the link that you can copy? Does that work? I can troubleshoot again once I’m at my laptop.

@MrsLibrarianSue @SandburgD205 Question from a fan. Can you answer? "Kristina Uihlein Holzweiss so I have one more question if that's ok 😬 I can't seem to figure out the QR code. I can only get it to take me to my Destiny homepage. I notice that yours links directly to the book. Thoughts?"

Looking forward to students seeing this hallway book display this week! Since lockers aren’t being used this year, we might as well find another use for them! #ignited205 @SandburgD205

@jenhill93 @SandburgD205 Yes. I go into the hallway during passing periods to say hi to students and our TA’s desk is close-by, so there’s a presence. There’ also a poem in each locker asking students to leave the book on the shelf unless they want to check it out. Otherwise they can use the QR code.

@lieberrian @SandburgD205 Yes! They are printouts of Google Slides with a pic of the author and lists of books we have in our school library, Sora, and our local public library. I also have a QR code posted for students to reserve the books in Destiny.

@Andrea_Trudeau I ❤️ this post! I can’t wait to start including little “gifts” with curbside pickups! Love the buttons, QR codes, bookmarks, etc.! I’m on a flex schedule, so I don’t see students regularly which makes building connections difficult. These ideas could definitely help!

@Barts07 this warmed my heart. My students loved their reading time when I was in the classroom. Now I’m in the library, and I can’t stress how important reading time for students really is. #justletthemread #ignited205

Chromebook Tip: Want to have your students see their work and your Zoom/Google Meet? Have them press [ and ALT at the same time. They’ll get a split screen with 2 tabs. #LeaderEd #edchat
