The UK and Malawi today celebrated the launch of the National Mathematics Curriculum Reform in Lilongwe. The revised curriculum guides children to understand the concepts behind maths and emphasizes problem solving, #maths-reform. 🇬🇧🇲🇼

Today is a day to stop and celebrate! Every child in the first 2 years of school in Malawi, even remote schools, are learning mathematics differently-with a better curriculum, workbooks to practice, and teachers who have embraced it.

It has been such a wonderful week and the team @WhiteRoseEd feel privileged to have been to Malawi this week to support with National Training. #Malawi is known as the warm heart of Africa & we have felt this 💗 it is a beautiful country and it has left a lasting impression🤩🇲🇼
