My Y5 nephew is loving reading Phoenix at school @whatSFSaid and I'm persuading my sister that he should read Varjak next as it's amazing - I've read it 4 times...I think...I've lost count!!! They love cats so it's a no-brainer!

Yesterday was our first indoor whole school gathering in a long time. We met for the first of many praise assemblies. All classes have started the year raring to go! #achievementbehaviourcaring #bethebestyoucanbe

@jon_severs And seems to be far more common than some realise. On a similar theme of lack of understanding...Any plans for raising awareness of synaesthesia and how it can impact on learning? I'm always looking for current writing on it but rarely find any - and I'd be happy to contribute!

Don’t forget children don’t see the world as we we do and neither should we expect them to. This Maurice Sendak quote sums it up perfectly.

@misterunwin @Southgloshead @MichaelT1979 We do whole school singing in the playground every week as soon as the children come through the gates. It wakes everyone up! Lots of rhythm work and dancing and we all stand in our separate bubbles but feel very much together. Even the @BarrowIslandSch dogs come sometimes!
