Ive had some fantastic news, you might remember how I tweeted early January how Ryan's transport company would no longer be taking Ryan to his daycentre, which meant he'd no longer be taken by the husband and wife team who Ryan got on really well with, local authority put the contract up for bid and Ryan had temporary transport, a new company won the contract, the husband and wife team found out who won the contract and moved over to them, which is incredible, they moved taxi companies because they know how important routine is to Ryan, what a amazing thing to do.

@NiallHarbison That last 4km Neil, I thought you'd have to crawl on your hands and knees. I kept shouting 'where's the finish line' felt like an eternity. Never cried as much when you finished 💖

One of the most incredible acts of community to help dogs you could ever wish to witness…
🏥 A mobile unit with 10 staff funded to launch on the 8th of December which will sterilize 5000 dogs in rural Thailand in 2026.
💴 Nearly $700,000 raised to fund sterilizing of dogs across South Easy Asia.
✂️ Around 20,000 operations funded in total stopping over a quarter of a million puppies being born into suffering.
🌏 Over 10,000 people donated from around the world to make this a reality.
I don’t even want to talk about the running part. People saw the suffering that took on the live streams. That was just something I could do to help the dogs.
💜 I nearly had to pull out. I should never have finished but I had a secret. I’d been up to Albas hill on Friday with Hank. We spoke to her at length and told her what was planned. I told her I knew I could have to go to a place in my mind I’ve never been before but that I’d do it for her. So a quarter of a million dogs wouldn’t have to suffer like she did.
To say I am thankful is a huge understatement. You have no idea how many people this impacts who help dogs via @wearehappydoggo and how many dogs lives are changed because of this. I did the running but this is a global effort of dog lovers doing something amazing in this world.

@babybeginner @NiallHarbison I think the most he ever ran in training was 15km,so to finish the marathon at all was some feat. Well done Niall, we were all cheering you on all the way 👏👏👏
English

Congratulations to @NiallHarbison who a month ago decided he would run a marathon to raise money to help stray dogs. The twist: he is not a runner.
But he did it!!!!!
He did it for Tina and Alba and Panda and Buster and every dog!!
I’m in tears! Well done Niall!!

@autcareandshare It's like their paying from their own pockets. When in reality there's funding there for that situation, and probably a huge balance in account, as they make it so hard for people to claim it.

today I'm helping yet another lady who has been refused transport, I got told no for transport for Ryan time and time again, each time they said no i asked for the refusal in writing, I then went to Ryan's day centre and asked for the risk assessments regarding transport, i then used this as evidence to support the claim the need for transport and supervision to and from his daycentre, and I was counting on them saying no, which they did so again, I get them to write up the refusal, see Ryan can get out the car any time and needs 1 to support and supervision, so in a daycentre setting that's 2 people at all times and I proved that by using the risk assessment, Ryan still needs that support at home and i demonstrated by not giving Ryan transport put him at risk.....they agreed.

@NiallHarbison Not long left Niall before your home. You've been incredible, pushing through. All for Tina 💖

There’s 3 reasons why I’m doing this tour….
1. To create a legacy for Tina 🎾
2. To helps 10,000s of street dogs 🐕
3. To meet people and say thanks in person for the support 🥰
The third one is super important for me. I often say that I’d rather be with the dogs and find all this hard. That’s true but I also don’t want to seem ungrateful. I am so blessed and have to pinch myself every single day to believe that this is true. No matter how hard I wanted to walk with, hug and tell everybody thanks in person.
I didn’t expect what I got back. I’ve met people who are dying. People who have lost loved ones. People fighting cancer and of course those with addiction and depression battles. There have been people who messaged me saying they had to build up the confidence to come meet me for days.
What I want to share is that there are so many out there battling in life. I’d say a large majority of us in some capacity struggle and put on a brave face for the world. It’s ok to be ok no matter what the online world and perfect lives we are told to aspire to are like. Life for many is hard and I feel that but also I see hope in the eyes of so many. I’ve been there. I was also broken just like Tina but there is always a way back. 2nd chances are real.
The small selection of presents I’ve shared show the hope in the world. Nothing is expensive but every gift is filled with love, hope and kindness. They are for me, staff and dogs. I wouldn’t swap any of them for a Ferrari if you offered me one.
I’ll never know how to thank people for the online and real world support so all I can do is keep helping dogs and talking openly about my own battles so it helps others.
Big love from me and Tina 🙏🥰

@SriLankaDogs @NiallHarbison Lovely pic. I was at the event too, but, unfortunately I couldn't stay around and queue,as it was so long and I would have missed my train home. However,I had the most wonderful afternoon. Niall is such a humble kind man,and has a heart as big as a house 🥰

They say you shouldn’t meet your hero - not true in this case! I had a 10 second meet and greet with the wonderful @NiallHarbison today. It was an honour and a privilege to shake his hand!

I tweeted how after lady that follows us has very kindly asked if me and Ryan would like to stay in her bed and breakfast accommodation in Blackpool, we said we'd love to, so she sent a lovely message saying she'd send photos of the room that we are staying in, this way i can show Ryan where he's staying, this helps him prepare for staying somewhere new, she's even recommended where to take Ryan for ice cream, she's thought of everything. 🍦
