@MissingStolen Thank you for bringing this evil cruelty to our attention, Lisa. What kind of warped individual could Inflict such a cruel barbaric death on 10 newborn puppies. Let's hope @gardainfo trace & prosecute this criminality. @DeptJusticeIRL @OCallaghanJim @countykerry @DublinSPCA

One of the happiest endings you could ever wish for. Mr Twix has grown into such a beautiful boy and look at how happy he is!

Did the CEO of Greyhound Racing Ireland state on RTEs Prime Time that he believed the yearly figure of 6000 dogs being killed due to lack of ability was now reduced to "only 3000" and that "most of them would of died of natural causes anyway"!!! Is he serious? #rtept #ireland

In a shocking revelation, Greyhound Racing Ireland admitted today that as many as 3,000 racing dogs are killed each year. It's time for this cruelty to end. @GreyhAwarenCork @banbloodsports @ActionGrey1 @galgos_GIN #DeelSighthoundRescue @GreatHounds1 @LKAnimalWelfare

“The real welfare problem in Irish greyhound racing is the killing of thousands of young, otherwise healthy dogs every year because they are no longer useful to the industry" - Nuala Donlon, Greyhound Action Ireland newstalk.com/news/greyhound… #Ireland #BanGreyhoundRacing

Please be part of this campaign - 40 buses in Dublin to end English and Irish greyhound racing! Did you know that without Irish Govt funding to the Irish greyhound racing industry - Greyhound racing in both England and Ireland would not be sustainable? England depends on Irish dogs to race with over 80% of raced dogs being irish! Irish greyhound racing makes no profit so without Irish funding it would close! Without this Govt funding; the Irish breeding of dogs would scale right down - English racing would require the surplus Irish raced dogs as it reports a shortage - but without the 6000 imports each year to fill the races we estimate English greyhound racing would close down within 3 to 4 years as tracks would not be able to replace their retired dogs due to a lack of greyhounds to fill their demand. This would allow a gradual and natural phase out of dogs; ending the racing industry.
