Third graders spilled out into the hallway to come together for our end-of-month PBIS celebration: a dance party! Students voted for the Macarena🕺#oakpark97 #WeAreD97 #longfellowbears

3rd grade poets participated in a poetry slam on Zoom! This platform made presenting in front of 90 more comfortable & accessible for all students since it eliminated the stage fright & empowered more students to present @golemes_utter @SassettiGrade3 #oakpark97 #longfellowbears

We start each day with a 15 min “soft start” where students can take their time to get settled in, chat, do puzzles, build, read, color, etc. It helps us start each day in a calm, positive way and strengthens our class community! #oakpark97 #longfellowbears #D97joy

Working in a small group during Math W.I.N. time and we were all surprised to see that we solved the SAME problem in 4 different ways! #oakpark97 #longfellowbears #WeAreD97

Students demonstrated cooperation and teamwork to create the longest paper chain given limited supplies. When done, they all wanted to combine the chains from each group to show that we are all one big team and that we all belong! ❤️ #oakpark97 #longfellowbears #MyD97 #D97Joy
