This week we enjoyed a visit from the @oprfhshuskies Japanese Club 🇯🇵 They taught us a little bit about Japanese culture and showed us how to make some simple origami! #LongfellowBears #WeAreD97

This week we revisited one of our favorite class #STEM challenges 👩‍🔬 The winning team was able to apply what they learned the first time around, and construct the tallest freestanding tower in the class, measuring in at a new record of 115 cm 😮 Job well done 👏 #LongfellowBears

Last week we learned how to write and address a friendly letter 📝 Today we stamped our envelopes and walked them down to the mailbox, to send our work home for the holidays! #LongfellowBears #WeAreD97 @USPS

For our latest #STEM challenge students learned about the designs of different skyscrapers 🌇 they then had 15 minutes to build the tallest tower in class using only tape and construction paper! #LongfellowBears #WeAreD97
