I quickly visited the FB UFLI page and I found this gem! My ed hero is Dr. Anita Archer, but seriously, Dr. Lane's clear and concise communication style has made her one of my top 5 researchers to learn from. There is never BS or grey areas that can be misinterpreted when she speaks. She is a gift to teachers, and we need more researchers like her who can cut through the noise and communicate with teachers.

Today we said goodbye to a giant. The Honourable Murray Sinclair helped put Canada on a path of Reconciliation. He challenged us, he educated us, and he believed in our ability to change. He will be dearly missed.

We've heard lots of great questions about screening recently! Some of the Oral Reading Fluency passages can seem challenging, especially for young readers. @MsSmithGoestoK highlights why the passages in this incredibly powerful measure aren't decodable.
