@BenKentish This is nothing to do with MPs at all. The decisions are made by someone called Black Rod. They - not MPs - make these decisions. By all means have a pop at MPs but only for things we are responsible for.

If you want an example of how Westminster works - how hierarchical it is - look no further than MPs being given 4 guest passes to the Lying-in-State so they can bring friends and family in, while their hard-working and often underpaid staff aren’t allowed to attend at all.

The last few days in the ward with my husband I have seen nurses at breaking point, agency nurses, distressed patients being supported or not supported by one to one staff, HCA staff who literally are running from the sink to patient to the sink again. It’s so hard to just watch

Welcome to the carnage that is travelling by air in 2022. 4th time BA and airport hasn’t had enough staff to take the bags off the plane so now have to courier them. A bloody joke, should be prosecuted for taking money when clearly can’t deliver the service. 1000s kicking off
