We finished today working on our team work skills with @MrsAlexanderWPS & Miss Feeney playing Non Stop Cricket in the sun! We loved the challenge of the non stop and it made it even better that the sun was shining down! ☀️⭐️ @WhinhillPS

Today we looked at the Metaskill of Integrity 👍 We looked at different scenarios and shared what we would do in these situations to show integrity. We then worked in groups to role play these scenarios and what we would choose to do! ⭐️ Ask us about this at home 🏠 @WhinhillPS

We started our morning by creating some word-searches using our spelling words to test others in our group! 💪🏻 We tried all the tricks to make the word search very challenging! 👏 Even Mrs ‘Wordsearch Queen’ McWatt was finding it hard to find some of our words! 😋 @WhinhillPS

Can you believe we only have one more week left of Sign Language Club! 😞 we learned some colours today so ask us at home to share our learning with you! My Super Signers this week are A and J! 👏 Well done! ⭐️ I’ll be around tomorrow! ❤️ @WhinhillPS

@FionaCowan7 @WhinhillPS Oh that’s brilliant! I did do some with H’s class when they were in my class and probably I’s too! So they have a great memory! I’ll need to ask her to show me ❤️ I’m going to do an upper school club after Easter so I’d love to see her there! 👍⭐️

Today we really wanted to help @CompassInvercly with their ‘Easter hugs in a bag’ campaign! So, we decided to make some cards. We used a variety of collage materials to create beautiful Easter cards that I’m sure is going to put a big smile on someones face! @WhinhillPS

We looked at comparing fractions, decimals and percentages today. Ask us at home what we learned. We then consolidated our learning with some bingo! @WhinhillPS

Another super reading time with dialogic talking & listening groups. We are now working on Applying questions which we create at home and then answer in our groups! Well done to the Killer Question winners! 👏⭐️ @WhinhillPS

Our imaginative writing went fab this morning when we chose, at random, our starter to the story that we then had to continue! We used a story sandwich planning sheet to note our ideas then you could have heard a pin drop with the concentration! ✍️⭐️ @WhinhillPS

Did you know?… Today is National Awkward Moment Day! What a laugh we had this morning from forgetting peoples names, shoes making a farting sound, being caught dancing away in your room and calling Mrs V Mum! 😂 Love a LOL morning to get us started! ❤️ @WhinhillPS

This morning we continued looking at the brain for #BrainAwarenessWeek We started with some different brain activities & challenges! We then learned about the different parts of the brain which was very interesting! Ask us some facts at home!🏠 @WhinhillPS

How amazing is Primary 6 & @MrsKEllis17 P6 artwork from today! We continued from last week, adding lined patterns to our Victorian buildings then used a fine liner to go over all of our lines! Now it’s time for colour 👍 Amazing work everyone! ⭐️ @WhinhillPS
