We practiced our vocabulary words using the 7 steps and ended with using it in a sentence with sentence starters.

Switching it up today! After our math test today, it became a STEM day. The students got to work together and try to make the tallest tower. The catch was that they needed to solve adding & subtracting problems in order to get more toothpicks #STEM #TestDayFunDay #TeamMarkFrey

Being a teacher, requires you to be flexible, understanding, on your toes, and sometimes allows you to learn with the kids. Today we created our own solar system and even though it was a hard lesson from some, every student was engaged and enjoying the activity to its fullest.
