@TeacherBusy We have our lang externally marked and then we work in 'teams' for lit. So me and 2 others marked all the Poetry answers; other 3 staff members marked the Christmas Carol.

So many replies to this - frighteningly, some people’s situations are worse than this. I have a meeting tomorrow to discuss strategy with SLT. Is there anything your schools do to support their English teachers with their mock marking load? Pls respond and let me know!
