@RichardHills_ I read some science... omicron second wave happening internationally now is because there are enough differences in the protein spikes that they are catching the BA2 strain now. Because NZ was hit with BA1 and BA2 at the same time it is less likely we would have a second wave.🤞

Anyone following what’s happening in NSW? They seem to be up to 20,000 cases a day on average again. When a month ago they were down at 5,000. Also their hospitalisations have increased 40% in the past two weeks. 👀 Is it the variant or something different happening there?
