I really like the bold photos and text heavy articles. It’s substantial. Frontier Magazine doesn’t gyp you with the content.
The paper is printed on some nice stock. It feels more like a table top book than a magazine tbh.

Everyone is saying good things about Project Hail Mary
Amazing what happens when a decent movie is coupled with good marketing and word-of-mouth excitement.
It should also be noted this movie came out in March which historically has been a dead time for motion pictures.

@LuckyStabbinHat @WardoftheStates I like to cut a fillet into chunks (1-2 bite size), then dip in seasoned flour, beaten egg, and finally a panko / bread crumb mix. Each step properly seasoned - not just the flour. Fry crisp in cast iron and it’s a family favourite.

@WardoftheStates Do you ever make fish and chips with some of your catch? There's a place on the Oregon coast that does wild caught Chinook salmon fish and chips and it's insanely good.

This is one of my favorite recipe recommendations that we tell our customers.
Using salmon - and seafood in general- as a protein topping is not only tasty but helps stretch the dollar.
You can add our shelf stable salmon to salad, pasta, scrambled eggs, baked potatoes, and so on.

@RamboVanHalen @godhatesagate @WardoftheStates We use the same quality of sushi grade sockeye in all our products - from fillets to smoked to tins and pouches. Also, we don’t add oil or water (apart from a little olive oil in the OO tin). The salmon’s own rich oils are cooked right back in. The smoked is 3 day old school!

The key, of course, is to use quality fish. Btw, if you like great tuna, I always refer folks to our fellow fishermen friends at tunatuna.com

@OldHollowTree Foraging is underrated! In your garden or elsewhere - when you have an experience finding your food, it tastes so much better. I think of foraging in terms of finding / using something outside your usual norms. Eg - tea from summer tundra plants. Been drinking all winter! 🥰
