Some challenges today in Science! We had a paper snowball fight to determine the materials we would use, a prompt given and then the creativity began! Some prompts were “What might you do/eat on the break?” or “What is your favourite snowy activity?” Love their minds!! @SACTVDSB

@dtangred @tinkercad @SACTVDSB Some that finished designing their prototypes did begin to explore codeblock! Today I challenged them to try building a snowman just to get the hang of it and tomorrow they will code their prototypes!

Ending off our #grade5Medschool this week by creating inventions that could help people who have diseases/illnesses/conditions that we researched. Thanks @dtangred for introducing me to @tinkercad !!! We LOVE it @SACTVDSB !!!

Well this week has been all about the digestive system 💩 After a hilarious and kind of gross model of a tasty sandwich going through the digestive process the students made these awesome comics sharing their learning! 😆😆

Each poppy on our wreath this year was made digitally by a student. Each one different, each one beautiful, just like each of them. Thankful and grateful for our Peace and Freedom and the sacrifices that so many made. #LestWeForget @SACTVDSB
