I want to reach out and ask for everyone’s heartfelt prayers for my dear husband, Jaime, who is currently in the ICU on a ventilator. He is bravely fighting for his life, and I know he could benefit from all the positive thoughts and prayers you can share. Jaime is not just my partner; he is my confidant, my workout buddy, my problem solver, and my source of strength. He is also one of the most dedicated workers and kind-hearted individuals I have ever known. He shares love, forgiveness, and support without judgment. Our children and I deeply need him, and your support this past week has meant the world to us. Thank you for your continued love and prayers. With all my love, Teresa Dickens Brimhall.

I am at a loss, I really don’t even know where to begin or what to say. We learned why that Evan hasn’t been feeling well here lately. My baby has relapsed. The Leukemia is not only in his bone marrow this time but also in his spinal fluid. He is having severe headaches and back pain. He just doesn’t feel well at all. He has a very long road ahead. The treatment this time will be far more intense than the first go around and he will also have to have a bone marrow transplant. No child should have to fight cancer once, let alone having to go through it all over again. When I told him that he had cancer again, he just cried. I stood in the shower last night for what seemed like forever, trying to wash off the reality of the day, but it didn’t work. And reality has set in hard this morning. Please send good vibes and prayers his way, he will need all that he can get

I've been missing my mom more than usual. Then I realized Feb 9, 2023 was the day she rang the bell and we thought we won. By that August she was gone. Going from hope to loss so suddenly changes you. I think my brain tries to keep moving but my heart remembers. Wish she was here

I’ve had some depression since the CT. Even though it showed I was cancer-free, the week leading up to it was a paralyzing, terrifying reminder that it could all be snatched away. How do you care, when it can all be gone? No advice please, just sharing the journey. #fuckcancer

I sit here and the overwhelming dejected feeling just grows throughout many parts of my life. As an incurable cancer patient, as an advocate, as a human living in this world and society. I sit an wonder an question is there hope or a bright spot in any of it

Dad’s condition changed drastically this morning. He can’t wake up but he’s not in any pain for which I’m so grateful. I can say I honored his wish to pass at home. My brother is here. It won’t be long now. #FuckCancer #MDS #AML

Personal prayer request for those willing. Tomorrow, I'll have my first six-month scans since completing cancer treatment. Definitely experiencing what the cancer community calls "scanxiety."

Yesterday I made a special trip to the hospital to see my friend Miss Naomi.
Her father messaged me Friday night letting me know her cancer had returned.
