#5 I am not currently working in the classroom so I do not have classroom experience with Technology to reflect on. Though, I have learned a lot from this class. I had first hand experience learning about Google Classroom which gave me confidence in using this app in the future.

@WeAreTeachers @MattChance1206 Interesting read. Why is the public so disappointed in how children are being taught. I suspect because they see state and national test scores. Not individual classroom and student improvements.

@robinsonk9034 Parents (me 2) are so caught up in everyday stresses we struggle dealing with emotional behaviors. Teacher are expected to teach so much more. But I don’t believe it is solely a teachers responsibility. Parents need to be more engaged in their children’s lives and school life.

Evaluating your classroom technology doesn't have to be a hassle! Choose a corresponding standard, make sure it is engaging for your students, decide if it will support your instruction, and discover if it can be used for assessment. blog.edmentum.com/how-evaluate-e…

My favorite part of this article on evaluating educational technology is setting goals. Everything teacher do in the classroom should have a purpose so setting goals and desired outcomes to your lesson with technology is so important. teach-nology.com/teachers/educa…

@dbolton1017 Agree! We need book publications. Too much screen time isn’t good!

“Should schools decline paper books and use only digital?” I think no, as much as our world revolves around technology, children should have the chance to experience books in their true form. Love that a child can gain for books, flipping through the pages as it comes to life.

"Students must have their basic needs met, a feeling of being loved and high expectations set for them. And that’s why I love teaching. I see myself in them, and once they trust me and love me, the light bulbs turn on and the magic happens" the74million.org/article/educat…

I have started prepping myself for the interview process. I am finding many videos of YouTube and varies links about how to prep. I would like to add, know the schools mission statement and make sure it aligns with your teaching philosophy. edutopia.org/article/5-thin…
