Often when a student misbehaves, they are dealing with something else far bigger than that specific moment. How we as educators react in that moment, may be the most impactful lesson of the day for that student.

We can’t just tell students what’s good for them. We must include them in conversations about the future of education. If we want them to become great leaders, we must bring them to the table and allow them to use their voice.

@MrsRobertsB This is a very controversial topic. Do you think that if they remove the Praxis that they will replace it with a different content knowledge course? If so what? Also do you think that they may also get rid of EdTPA due to the teacher shortage?

@NicoleTShir I agree and disagree. I certainly believe educators should be held to a certain standard of knowledge in order to educate our kids. Can a person really teach on a subject they don't fully understand themselves? How else can that be tested?

@dbolton1017 I agree! Technology certainly has it's place in education but there is still value in printed materials.

“Should schools decline paper books and use only digital?” I think no, as much as our world revolves around technology, children should have the chance to experience books in their true form. Love that a child can gain for books, flipping through the pages as it comes to life.
