Ms. Di Zillo transformed her class into Starbooks Cafe to wrap up a poetry unit. Students laughed as she jokingly wrote incorrect names on cups. It was a special to see students reciting poems and feeling like they are a part of a community. @sd735

7th graders are doing a researched debate about recent cases of book banning. Not only is it a healthy conversation about censorship but there’s also been an increase in circulation of the books being discussed, and the best part? The students are highly engaged! @Skokie735

As one of the youngest elected officials in the country, this story was filmed a while ago, but just broadcasted on TV with 30M+ reach. Although people now refer to me as the First Gen Z Muslim Woman Elected to Public Office, I hope my takeaways at the end resonate with people
