Mrs. Garcia’s class has been using The Color Monster to help us explore our feelings. They enjoyed creating anchor charts to show and share their emotions, which served as a great visual support. We wrapped up with some fun marble painting, too! @FBISDEarlyChild @DrAprudhomme

Stole this idea from my amazing mentor teacher, @MsClarkeTx ! It is amazing how much a co-created progression helps students evaluate their work and decide what next steps they can use to level up to proficiency in their written assignments. I love the motivation I’m seeing! 🤩

Childhood Cancer is something that is close to my family’s heart. It always is special to see schools show their support. Sharing these photos with my family. My cousin’s cancer started during his childhood, but is now a continued fight in his adulthood. @CSE_Chameleons

Today our Kinder team rocked their PLC! They analyzed student work from Unit 1 Getting Started in Reading, Building Strong Reading Habits, and planned action steps for every level—Advanced, Proficient, Progressing, & Developing. #PLCAtWork #LevelUp @DrAprudhomme @AP_JennyBartels

Mrs. Voelkel modeled a wonderful lesson connected to our TEK on analyzing plot. She modeled annotating a passage. We planned our rubric, SCR question for our CFA. This led to extension activity ideas on students that show mastery of the TEK. Proud of our 5th grade crew!
