Wow, what an incredible beginning! Last week our admin team attended the MCPS Leadership Retreat where we had the opportunity to collaborate with our division leaders and dive into deep conversations about ensuring equity in our schools with author Ken Williams @unfoldthesoul.

We learned about each other as leaders and evaluated our progress in relation to our Continuous Improvement efforts and our road forward towards academic excellence. We then wrapped up our week by welcoming our newest BIS teachers to MCPS for New Teacher Academy!

This started b/c @colganhs needed 2 folks to advise @colgan_sca no clue what we were doing 😂 7 yrs. later, I stood by @teachmissbeach for her “I do”. Many things come w/ being an educator but this friendship is by far one of the highlights of my almost decade career.
