Final project of the year! We held a "Book Fundraiser", where students researched endangered species on @WWF, and turned them into books for Grade 1-2s and adults, on @BookCreatorApp. 🐏🤙🏾🐺 @TDSB_STEM

Today we finally finished sorting out books into appropriate genres, then each student was assigned a label and put together these bins (here are some). A great showcase of teamwork and collaboration. We're *almost* ready for Room 11's own version of @chaptersindigo! 📚

Blended letter sound scavenger hunt and categorizing our classroom library. The kids are getting well versed in our books. Creating personal connections to the book will get them interested; understanding letter sounds will keep them locked in (until they want snack)🤞🏾
