The only proof from today’s camp day bc we were having too much fun, this one was a blast 🚀! From Space Academy to coding to building rockets! @MsJCopeland @dtangred @sbruyns @MrsHagman_Edu @Mich_Rees @TDICOLA1 The real MVP was Mr. C, getting covered in baking soda and vinegar!

What a day! We strategically carved pumpkins using @quivervision as part of our Camp Day rotations! We learned the importance of having a plan & trial and error. Thankful for amazing teaching partners! @kimanders0n @MsJCopeland @dcadieux5 @dtangred @Mich_Rees @TDICOLA1 @SACTVDSB

Students have loved micro:bits in the past, but we don’t have access to them regularly (I borrow from an instructional coach). Would love to have regular access to code more often and I’d share with the best teaching partners ever @MsJCopeland @MrsvanHees #SACTVDSB

Thanks @MsJCopeland for today’s math game! Students created 6 digit numbers using the spinner, then competed with their partners in a race to add as quickly and accurately as possible using a strategy we’ve learned #SACTVDSB #grade6

Students challenged their classmates to “find the question” by creating number lines to represent addition problems involving 6 digit numbers. They were VERY excited when I said they got to draw on their desks today. #tvdsbmath #SACTVDSB

Nearly 100 of our #grade6 Ss have ✍🏼 ✉️ to send to their pen pals in Stockholm, Sweden! So fun connecting with my first ever teaching partner 🇸🇪 and amazing collaboration with our grade 6 team to teach Ss how to write a friendly letter! @MsJCopeland @MrsvanHees @SACTVDSB
