“If you’re launching without panic, you launched too late” - So I am doing it now! 💪 Suddenly remembered an idea last weekend, so I dove right in, even though I've only finished the basic part, but it's worth sharing anyway 😁 It’s all started with WHY: To reach more people, to have more users and customers, we sometimes need PAID ADS, but not everyone has a good budget for advertising, and not everyone is an expert. Especially for my fellow indie makers, small shop owners, or SMEs. ☝️If you think, "well, running ads with a small budget is fine" Think again, because it won't help and you're just throwing your money away. When running ads with a small budget, you'll reach a very small audience size, and the chance of converting them into customers is even slimmer. Introducing the "basic" DigiCord AI feature that has been keeping me busy all day: "PDF ANALYSIS" 🚀 It's called "basic" because it should have been available from day one, having been on my to-do list for quite a while. But after some research, I found it too challenging and abandoned it. 🤣 I was motivated to dust it off only after a user request the other day. I had to use three methods to fully read the PDF file content: 1. Scanning regular text: This one is easy, nothing to discuss 2. Reading structured data such as tables and special characters (mathematical formulas) 3. Reading images: To optimize costs, I applied OCR to read them first (like scanned PDFs). For regular images like charts, landscapes, or people (OCR is useless), I used the Vision API to describe them (this incurs a cost). Almost 99% of PDF cases will be fully read! 👌 I thought it wouldn't be difficult, but it was surprisingly challenging. 😆 Finally finished! 💪 #buildinpublic
